Hello, my name is Roberta Marazzato.

I grew up in a small town near Venice, Italy, where I lived for over 30 years. My parents and grandparents owned a small farm, so I was surrounded by farm animals and learned how to grow vegetables from an early age. Spending countless hours in the kitchen with my grandmother and mother, I quickly developed a passion for cooking. My grandmother passed down authentic Venetian recipes, shaping my love for traditional Italian cuisine.

Cooking has always been a part of my life. Ever since I could use the oven, I’ve enjoyed baking and creating with food. I learned how to make fresh pasta, pizza, and bread dough from scratch, and I’ve always found joy in the process. Now, I want to share that passion with others.That’s why I created Sapori Casalinghi—a space dedicated to offering classic Italian recipes, along with new flavors I’ve discovered since moving to the United States. Sapori Casalinghi focuses on traditional dishes from the Veneto region, while also featuring a few other favorites from Italian cuisine.
